Volunteers are an essential part of the The Little Theatre family—we simply couldn’t exist without them! We welcome anyone interested in dedicating their time and talents to support Winston-Salem's oldest performing arts organization to consider becoming a volunteer.

USHER/FRONT OF HOUSE
Help The Little Theatre provide excellent customer service while taking tickets, handing out programs, assisting with will call, and showing patrons to their seats. Opportunities are available on performance dates throughout the year, and include the opportunity to attend the performance during the volunteer shift.
Run crew, lighting and sound board operators, assistant stage managers, and wardrobe volunteers are needed for every production. Experience is welcomed, but volunteers also have the opportunity to learn on the job.
Are you interested in helping The Little Theatre reach a wider audience, become more connected in the community, and raise funds to sustain future years of programming? Become an outreach volunteer! Whether you have experience in event planning and fundraising, or you'd like to help us put up posters around town, we would love to have you on our outreach team.
Assist with ticket sales and customer service over the phone and in-person. Work alongside Little Theatre box office staff to process ticket and membership orders, print and mail tickets, and prepare for will call at performances. Volunteers are needed year-round.
Get hands-on! Help production staff with building, painting, and installing scenery, hanging and focusing lights, organizing and altering costumes, and striking after the production closes. Opportunities are available in the weeks leading up to each production, and while experience is welcomed, volunteers are also able to learn on the job.
