A comedy of unexpected consequences, The Underpants is a satire adapted from a classic German play where a small but embarrassing public incident creates a love triangle.

Louise Markes attempts to spice up her marriage to her uptight husband, Theo, but the results are not quite what she intended. Her undergarments fall off in public, and he fears they’ll become wrapped up in an enormous scandal. Though the incident doesn’t cost Theo his job, it does bring in two men who want to rent the Markes’ spare room for the same reason–Louise has captured their hearts, unbeknownst to Theo.
