How many tickets do I need to purchase?
 

As long as you are in the same household, you will only need one ticket to watch the performance, even if you are watching it with a group of people.


If your family plans to enjoy the show on multiple devices at the same time (for example you want to watch on your computer, and your spouse wants to watch on the smart TV), you will need to purchase multiple tickets and use separate access codes for each device.

What happens after I purchase my ticket?
 

Upon purchasing a ticket, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions for watching the performance. Look for the section labeled Order Details in the bottom half of this email, containing a blue button with the name of your virtual event. This button will direct you to your virtual content. (Note: some email clients display a blue stripe rather than button. The link to watch will be in the same location.)

If you have purchased multiple tickets or tickets to multiple virtual events, they will each be listed in this section with their own button.

How do I watch the virtual event?
 

Click on the blue button in your confirmation email. Once you have clicked the link, your web browser will open, and take you to our Live Stream Viewer page. You must then click the box to accept the terms and conditions of the platform then enter the access code provided in your confirmation email, found directly below the access link. If the system does not automatically populate your access code on the viewer page, your access code can be found in the email confirming the ticket purchase.

 

Virtual events must be viewed in a web browser (accessible on desktops, laptops, smartphones, tablets, and select smart TVs). We recommend using Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, or Safari. We do not recommend Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge. (Tip: Make sure your browser is updated before viewing the virtual event.)

If the viewer page displays a message about concurrent users, your ticket link is already being used to watch the performance on a different device. Make sure the other browser is closed, then try the process again.

ALTERNATE VIEWING OPTIONS

To watch the virtual event on a Smart TV, see device specifics:


Use an HDMI Cable: Use your ticket link to access the virtual event from your laptop or tablet. Connect your laptop or tablet to the TV using an HDMI cable to watch the virtual event on the TV.

Smart TV web browser: If your TV has a web browser app, use it to log into your email account. Open your confirmation email, and use your ticket link to access the virtual event.


Apple TV/AirPlay: Make sure your Apple device (phone, tablet, computer) and Apple TV are connected to the same WiFi network. Use your ticket link to access the virtual event from your device, then click the AirPlay icon in the top right corner of the video to cast the video to your Apple TV.


Amazon Fire Stick: To watch on with Amazon Fire Stick, download the free browser, Amazon Silk. Using this browser, log into your email and use your ticket link to access the virtual event.

Roku: Make sure your mobile device (phone, tablet, computer) and Roku device are connected to the same WiFi network. Download the Mirror for Roku app on your mobile device. Add the Mirror for Roku channel to your Roku device, then open the channel. Mirror your mobile device to your Roku device using the app. Use your ticket link to access the virtual event from your mobile device.


Chromecast: We do not recommend using Chromecast to view virtual events at this time.

VIRTUAL EVENT DOs and DON’Ts


DO test your connection ahead of time! You can click your ticket link at any time - entering the virtual platform ahead of your event will not prevent you from doing so again at the event time.


DO contact us if you cannot find your confirmation email. Sometimes, confirmation and reminder emails go directly to junk or spam folders in your email. If you cannot locate your confirmation, please email us at boxoffice@ltofws.org or call 336-725-4001.


DON’T share your ticket link. Your access code allows you to view the event on one device at a time. If someone else uses your link to access the event while you are viewing, it will boot you from the platform.

DO troubleshoot. If your screen freezes or loses sync with audio, refresh the page. If your connection is interrupted, click your ticket link again to rejoin the stream.

If you have successfully accessed the virtual event but the video is lagging or freezing, it's possible that your internet connection is too slow. Unfortunately, The Little Theatre cannot provide technical support for your internet connection - contact your internet provider to improve your connectivity.
