Young Will Shakespeare has writer's block. The deadline for his new play is fast approaching and he's in desperate need of inspiration. Enter Viola, a beautiful young noblewoman who will stop at nothing to appear in his next play. Against a bustling background of mistaken identity, ruthless scheming and backstage theatrics, Will’s feelings for Viola quickly blossom and inspire him to write the greatest love story of all time.
